Sunday - Day 6 - Mother's day, Laie Temple, BYU - HI, Laie Point and Missionaries.

Today we went to church with Rosa Hurst and her family. It was Mother's day and many of the women were wearing lei's which was really cool. All the talks about mother's really made me miss our little guy a lot, although I knew he was okay. It was kind of sad spending my first Mother's day as a mother without him.

After church we went to the Laie Temple and visitor center.

Rosa made dinner for us and the missionaries that night. They were sister missionaries that worked at the temple's visitors center. One was from Samoa and the other was from Germany. The one from Germany arrived in Hawaii the day after we did. It was great to talk with them and hear their stories. Rosa made great food too. The dog Firpo also enjoyed it. He always gets a little table food.
