Day 7 - North Shore & Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center

Today we went to BYU Hawaii to get pineapples to bring home, and we went to the North Shore. At the North Shore we took pictures of Shark's cove, saw Turtle Bay and went near Hickam Air Force Base and watched some surfers. After that we packed, said goodbye to Temple Beach, went to the Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center and saw Ha! The Breath of Life show.

We decided to snorkel there again today - I wore a shirt since I was really sunburned. This turtle was nearly as big as me and he about ran right into me.

Before the Luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center we walked around the villages a bit more and did a spear throwing thing that we did last Thursday. This is how you would resolve an argument. If you look really, really, really, really close you can see Scott's spear in the sky. It looks like a dead stick poking high out of the trees in the white sky. There was a couple circles like a bullseye and whoever got in the center would win the argument. I did it too, I only got the spear in the middle circle once though.
