Yesterday was Wellsville Founder's Day. Sam really enjoyed the parade. He spent the first little while gathering candy and the rest of the time eating it. My Mom was in the parade and tried to pick him up to take him on a scooter ride and he started to cry. I think the idea of being in the parade scared him. He normally loves going on rides with my Mom. (She sells scooters, she's not normally in one.) After the parade we went to the booths and the rides. Sam went on the big slide first. It was $1 for 2 slides. On the first slide he went so fast that when he hit the bottom he bounced and landed/slid on his face. Needless to say he didn't want to go on it the second time. After that we took him to the bounce house that also had a smaller slide. He loved that and was sad when we made him get out. I was excited because for the first time in at least 7 years I found something I wanted to buy at the booths. It was a newborn crocheted blue and white hat with a football on it. I am hoping to go to the Aggie game this Friday and have Baby Brett wear it. =)
In the picture with Baby Brett, Sam had found some toys that he thought Baby Brett needed to play with. I'm glad he is so thoughtful.
