I did wish I had dressed both Myself and Sam warmer. I had to teach him to stick his hands in his pockets because they were getting so cold.
Sam went on the pony ride twice. Once right after we arrived (the picture with it snowing) and once when we left. For some reason he felt that he needed to keep one hand on his helmet at all times. He also loved chasing the sheep and goats. He kept trying to give them hugs.
Sam enjoying more animals.
Sam loved the train more than anything so we also rode that twice. He could care less that he was cold and the speed made it a bit windy. Especially when the train would get to the tunnel he got super excited! When I tried to snap a picture of him before the train left he was very concerned that I was going to miss it so he was asking me to come back and sit down. =)
Sam with the baby chicks and holding the bunnies. He also loved the bunnies. When I tried to leave the first time I about made it to his stroller and he asked to see them again. Silly boy.
The view from one of the barns.
Some other animals we saw were little turtles, bison, a lot of horses (including a ride being pulled by the Clydesdale Horses) and baby bear cubs (one of the few things we couldn't touch). It is also probably worth mentioning how worth it going that day was. There was only one more day left (Saturday). We drove by on the way to Ogden and it was packed. Cars were parked way past the parking lot on the grass all the way out to the highway. When Sam and I went the day before, the parking lot was maybe 1/8th of the way full and no one in the grass. I think I'd rather be a bit cold and hardly have lines at all than to be waiting in lines all day.
